Platonic Solids

A platonic solid is constructed by identical, regular polygonal faces with the same number of faces meeting at each vertex.
The Greek philosopher Plato believed that the building blocks of the world, the classical elements (water, fire, earth, air-and later, aether, added by Aristotle) were made by repeating regular shapes.
